This is an oversized version of Mizusawa's high-spec Mountaineer down jacket. While maintaining its high water resistance thanks to its heat-bonded non-quilted construction and seam-taped construction, the 2023 model has been updated with updated details for greater comfort and convenience. The 2024 model also features new interior chest pockets and a detachable keychain for improved storage. The cuffs and inner collar have also been redesigned with softer materials. The Parahood System*1 not only allows for compact storage of the hood, but also prevents water from pooling on the hood, making it ideal for use in rainy or other inclement weather. The dual zip ventilation system at the front zipper allows fresh air to enter the garment through two rows of zippers and mesh fabric positioned between them, allowing for the escape of uncomfortable heat and humidity. The lining is made of HEAT NAVI® insulation, a thermal material that maintains a comfortable temperature inside the garment. Furthermore, we use traceable down from French white ducks that has been certified "DOWNPASS"*2, and by strictly managing it using serial numbers, we are able to track the procurement process of all feathers.
