UNLIKELY BEAR STAND JACKET

As the name BEAR suggests, this stand-up blouson is crafted from wool boa pile, resembling a bear. Inspired by outdoor brand fleece jackets, the design features a stretch binder at the hem, cuffs, and pocket openings, and a mesh lining. The split raglan adds ease of movement. Warm yet sporty, it's as comfortable as a stuffed animal. The fabric is a wool/nylon top yarn, carefully knitted to its tightest possible density on an old-fashioned pile knitting machine at a circular knitting factory in Wakayama. Once knitted, the boa is returned to Ichinomiya for finishing at a textile factory, where it's finished. The use of top yarn emphasizes the vintage look, and a light wash during the finishing process adds a firmness to the garment, resulting in a meticulous finish.
