The CREAS hard shell jacket embodies the Descente Allterrain brand. As its name, a combination of "Creative" and "Assemble," suggests, this iconic piece represents the combined creativity and development capabilities of Descente. The outer fabric is made of Dermizax, boasting a water resistance of 20,000mm and breathability of 10,000g/m²/24h (B-1) and 3,500g/m²/24h (A-1). The front zipper features Descente's unique dual ventilation system. Two rows of zippers and mesh fabric between them allow fresh air in and release heat and humidity that can easily build up inside the garment. The Parahood system not only allows the hood to be stored compactly, but also prevents water from pooling on the hood, making it ideal for use in rainy or other inclement weather. The hood's special zipper design allows for quick opening and closing. Additionally, the cuffs are equipped with noiseless block fit adjusters that maintain hold even when wet, providing a comfortable fit. The hem features a Cohaesive™ cord lock system, allowing for quicker and easier adjustment of the garment's fit, improving both convenience and durability. Pit zip ventilation is provided under the arms. These underarm zippers allow for quick ventilation of heat trapped inside the garment. They allow air to be drawn in from outside the jacket, releasing uncomfortable heat and moisture that can easily build up inside the garment.
