SILK CASHMERE TWEED HARRINGTON JACKET

This Harrington jacket features a relaxed fit in the chest and sleeves, while the hem and cuffs are ribbed for a compact silhouette. The raglan sleeves have a more sloping shoulder than the original. The fabric is a shadow herringbone weave, with a cashmere warp and a silk weft. The silk is mule-spun from recycled silk, resulting in a fluffy, no-wool texture. The fabric is brushed and then sheared, subtly hiding the herringbone weave, creating a subtle shadow herringbone. A tumble wash further enhances the fluffy texture. The lining is made of silk/cotton taffeta. The silk's luster is toned down by fibrillating it during the finishing process. It's also characterized by its smooth texture and light weight.
