This cropped, retrofitted hoodie intentionally recreates the vintage-inspired, stretched-out loose ribbing, distorted pockets and V-gussets, and small, oversized hood, creating a distorted silhouette. The outer fabric is made from a hang-knit fleece, created based on vintage knitwear analysis. While knitting can only be done at a slow speed of one meter per hour, this method avoids putting unnecessary strain on the yarn, resulting in a thick yet soft, fluffy texture. The thermal lining is also created based on vintage knitwear analysis. Following the vintage aesthetic, artisans have handcrafted the garment to create uneven coloring and aging effects. *As each piece is handcrafted by artisans, the finish will vary.
