The flap on the patch pockets is a defining characteristic of 1930s denim jackets. In a time of scarcity, it was a clear mark of improved quality. The stitching securing the pleats on the front body was also reinforced more strongly, further enhancing its perfection as workwear. The single-pocket design reached a pinnacle here. Black lacquer buttons and copper rivets, which were used on the light ounce denim of the time, are adopted to further refine its authenticity.
