Based on Taiga Takahashi's iconic Lot. 601 Tee Shirt, the shoulder slope was redesigned to improve the underarm fit. The material is a plain jersey with the texture of hand-spun yarn. It uses yarn that replicates, with modern technology, the yarn spun by the Garabo spinning machine, a domestic spinning machine invented in the Meiji era. This yarn, spun at a slower speed than regular spun yarn, incorporates air, resulting in a light and soft texture. By blending dropped cotton with Supima cotton, a natural unevenness is expressed. Both sumi (ink) dyeing and mud dyeing are garment-dyed.
