Based on a 1940s British postal worker's jacket. Unlike flat American workwear, this pattern retains traces of tailoring. The two eyelets on the left chest were originally for attaching badges, and this detail has been preserved. The fabric is Supima twill, which was used in Taiga Takahashi's first collection. It is a 3/1 left-hand twill that reproduces the American military fabric used during World War I in the 1910s, and has a smooth feel. Each piece is garment-dyed with sumi ink and mud to create a worn-in look.
